Managing Max Insights
What is Altify Max?
Altify Max gives you insights – real-time coaching – about the current state of your opportunity. These insights are based on Altify's sales best practices, honed from deep experience of many thousands of sales engagements.
You can also add your own insights to Max to identify potential vulnerabilities for your sellers and advise them on what to do next.
Max insights update dynamically as the opportunity ages and as you take action. For example, when you add contacts to a relationship map, the insights you get will adapt to the new context.
Also with Max you can update or translate the Suggested Target content that is displayed in contact detail panels on Opportunity Manager and Account Manager relationship maps.
Note: Altify Max v.1.61.6 is required to update or translate Suggested Target content.
Basic users, Max editors, and Max administrators
There are three levels of access to Max:

Basic Max users are typically sales reps and line managers.
Opportunity Manager users with the Altify Max User permission set see Max insights when they are working on an opportunity.
TeamView users with the Altify Max User permission set can view Max insights when they are reviewing opportunities that are listed.
Users can also get regular email digests of insights.

Users with the Altify Max Editor permission set have access to the Insight Editor tab, where they can create and maintain Max insights. A Max Editor is usually someone whose domain expertise your company wants to harness through Max insights.
In the Insight Editor tab, they can:
- Create and edit insight text and other basic settings
- Create and edit the insight rules that determine when the user is shown the insight
- Add child insights
- Clone an insight
- Delete an insight
- Import or export an insight library file

A Max Administrator is a user who has the Altify Max Administrator permission set.
They have access to the Max Administration tab, where they can carry out low-level Max administrative tasks involving:
- Batch jobs
- Email configuration
- Enabling Max
When is a Salesforce system administrator required?
Signals are fields that can be referenced in Max insight text and rules. A wide range of signals are defined in your basic Max installation.
Additional signals can be added to Max by a Salesforce system administrator.
